General Site Rules:
There will be no access to the site before Friday 22nd May 2026 13:00, this is private land and we want to be able to use this venue for years to come. Just to repeat this is PRIVATE LAND.
Parking – Listen to instructions from the parking marshals.
No fires!!! the grass is really dry and we need to be very careful.
BBQs to be raised off the floor and away from the grass.
To aid on site security all people on site will need a wrist band. Riders and Spectators can collect them at sign on Saturday morning , If you arrive on Friday they will be given to you by a parking marshal or can be colleted from the sign on marquee. Everyone will be checked throughout the weekend.
Timing:
This Event is timed by Sportident, there are some notable changes to previous years! The notable changes are the Timing chip goes on your wrist not your bike and you have to ride through the start tent/arch at your start time to initiate your timing chip. For all other changes please fully read the riders briefing.
- SIAC timing chip is worn on right wrist – no GPS device on the same wrist
- SIAC timing chip to be collected after practice and before seeding
- Live stage times will be available during the Race – mobile signal permitting
- At the end of each day riders must come to the Registration Tent so that your SIAC can be downloaded. You will receive a splits print showing all your stage times.
- SIACs are handed in when you have finished racing. If you decide to not ride on Sunday, you must come to the Registration Tent to hand in your SIAC
- There is a charge of £60 for any SIAC not handed in by close of play on Sunday
Bike security:
Please keep your bike with you at all time or locked up in your vehicle, especially over night!!
Events have been targeted over the past couple of years. Bikes cut off the back of vans and cars! Make sure its not you! Chained and padlocked in a vehicle is the best option to keep them safe. Security of your own belongings is down to you and please remind your family & friends.
With this in mind we have teamed up with the charity Squaddie Box to offer overnight manned bike storage if you cant leave your bike inside a locked van or car.
There will be a donation to the charity of a minimum of £15 per bike and can be drop off Sat 16:00 until 19:00 and collected Sun 08:00 until 10:00. The bike storage will be manned all night and covered with CCTV. Southern Enduro will match all riders donations to Squaddie Box, its a great charity that deserves out support.
On top of the Bike storage Squaddie Box will also be doing over night patrols and have CCTV on site. Please bear in mind the site cannot be fully covered by Patrols or CCTV and your best bet is still locked up inside a locked van or car.
More info about Squaddie Box Our Next Step: Squaddie Box Becomes a CIC – Squaddie Box (CIC)
E-Bike Charging:
Our friend at the Melon stand will be offering limited E-Bike charging on both Saturday and Sunday. They will have the capacity to charge up to 12 E-Bikes at a time. Please bring a lock and we advise you hang around the area while the bikes charge. Charging will be located close to the food, drink & bar.

Riding in Groups:
This is an important change, To keep the seeding as accrete and to avoid riders being caught up on track as much as possible we are introducing a group riding time slot. If you what to ride as group you can go off last after the Main race riders this will be at around 10:45 on Sunday. We are adding this option for those that really want to ride with there friends, in the past riding in group in the seeding times has caused real issues. We feel this change is important too keep the Race as fair as possible for everyone.
To do this please let the Start marshal know at the race village on Sunday and they will take you plate numbers and the gather from 10:45 and you’ll be sent off in groups.
Same applies for Ebike groups but instead of 10:45 Eike groups will go off at around 09:20.
If you are an adult and you want to ride with a Junior then this is possible too however the Juniors ride a slightly different/shorter course to the adults so you’ll have to move to the Open race which rides the same course as the Juniors. The Juniors go last as they have the shortest course to complete.
Course Markers:
Please follow these Blue makers to navigate the course. At junctions where the route splits we will indicate which way to each stage.
