Orbea Southern Enduro Series 2024 – Round 1

*Ebikes are to pedalec (Epacs) only and limited to 15.5 mph and to have no more than a 250 watt motor.

Timing

We are using the Action Sport Timing’s contactless system. This requires that riders collect a timing dongle on Sunday morning BEFORE they start the race. The racers will ride over timing mats at the start and end of stage to record their time.

 

Categories

Categories have been updated this year to aligned with the current EWS and British Enduro Categories.

Ages are taken as age on 31st December 2024 for the 2024 season.

Note: If age categories don’t have a minimum of 3 racers we will merge them with the relevant category.

 

Points

We will also have a winner for the overall Orbea Southern Enduro Series. The most points = overall winner.

Racers will be able to drop their worst result from the series and we will have a podium at the final round of the series foe the top 3 races in each category.

 

Demo Bike

Our headline sponsor will be offering demos on their latest fleet of bikes at the event.

 

Other races

All remaining individual rounds for the series will will go on sale 3 months before each event.
